The Website gives general information about the College: its programmes, eligibility, admission process, faculty, facilities, results, notices and how to contact us.

The Website has no user accounts and does not take payments. Its enquiry and job application forms do not store or send your details; they open WhatsApp or your email app with your message filled in, as the Privacy Policy explains.

These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not need a physical or digital signature.

We take care to keep the information on the Website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and may change without notice. Before you make a decision on admission, fees, hostel, scholarships or examinations, please confirm the current position with the College office.

Nothing on the Website is an offer of admission or employment, or a contract. In particular:

• (a) admission to degree programmes is made strictly on merit through the Government of Odisha’s Student Academic Management System (SAMS), under the rules of SAMS and Utkal University, and the official SAMS schedule and notices prevail over anything on the Website;
• (b) programme structure, syllabus and duration follow the regulations of Utkal University and the Government of Odisha as they stand for each intake;
• (c) fees, hostel charges, scholarships, fellowships and admission offers (such as an early-bird offer) apply only as the College confirms them in writing for the relevant intake, and may be withdrawn or changed;
• (d) job openings on the Website do not create an offer of employment.

Where the Website and an official notice, prospectus or document issued by the College, Utkal University or the Government of Odisha differ, the official document prevails.

Results, ranks and destinations shown on the Website are those of named past students, as published by the College. Testimonials are the words of the students and parents who wrote them.

They show what some students have achieved. They are not a promise or guarantee that any student will obtain a particular mark, rank, examination result, admission, selection or job. Outcomes depend on many things, including each student’s own effort and the decisions of universities, examining bodies and employers.

Any assurance or offer the College makes about outcomes applies only on the conditions the College sets out in writing at the time of admission.

You may view, download and print pages and documents from the Website, such as the brochure, for your own personal use, including decisions about admission or employment.

You must not:

• (a) use the Website for any unlawful purpose;
• (b) try to gain unauthorised access to the Website or the systems that host it, or interfere with how it works;
• (c) copy large parts of the Website by automated means, or reproduce its content for commercial purposes;
• (d) pretend to be the College, its staff or anyone else, including in messages that use the College’s name, logo or contact details;
• (e) collect personal information about students, staff or other people shown on the Website.

The text, photographs, design and logo on the Website belong to the College, the Jupiter Group of Institutions or the people who allowed us to use them, and are protected by the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. You may not reuse them beyond Clause 4.1 without our written permission.

The names and logos of Utkal University, the Government of Odisha, examining bodies and media organisations belong to their owners. They appear only to identify those organisations, and their use does not mean those organisations endorse the Website.

If you appear in a photograph on the Website and would like it removed, or if you believe something on the Website infringes your rights, please write to us at the address in Section 10 and we will review it promptly.

The Website links to services run by others, such as the Government of Odisha SAMS portal, WhatsApp, Google Maps and social media. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Their own terms apply when you use them.

The College does not ask for payments through the Website. If you receive a call, message, email or link asking you to pay a fee, deposit or charge in the College’s name, please confirm it with the College office on the published numbers before you pay. The College is not responsible for payments made to anyone acting without its authority.

We try to keep the Website available and free from errors, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, the College is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on the Website that you did not confirm with the College office, from the Website being unavailable, or from the content or practices of other websites it links to.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be limited by agreement.

We may update these Terms when the Website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please write to us first so we can try to resolve it. Subject to that, the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha have jurisdiction.

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
